International Advance Computing Conference marks one of the flagship conferences of IEEE. The genesis of IACC began in 2009 at Thapar University. Since then, it is evolved and progressed over the past five years. I am very glad that the 5th IACC is being organized at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore with its grandeur. The conference provides high profile platform researchers, engineers, developers and students to showcase their latest research activities, techniques and experiences. There has been a considerable increase in the number of quality manuscripts being received in the conference. The number of sponsors and participants are rising every year. A good citation index has been observed for the papers presented in previous IACC. The authors feedback reveal that they receive good input and constructive comments for their research work. The suggestions and participation in panel discussions help them to improvise on their methodologies. The conference has noticed substantial success in the previous years.

The year 2015 has been very special for us at BMS College of Engineering as we are celebrating the 70th Anniversary of our formation. To mark the event of completing seven decades of service and contribution to the society in the area of Engineering Education, BMSCE is proudly organizing seven International Conferences this year. As part of planned celebrations, the cluster of IT related departments (Computer Science, Information Science, Master of Computer Application) is organizing the 5th IEEE International Advance Computing Conference.
I know that the success of the conference depends ultimately on the people who have worked with us in planning and organizing both the technical program and supporting social arrangements. I congratulate all those who have worked hard till date in making this conference a reality and wish all the participants a hearty welcome once again.
