If harnessed correctly, Artificial Intelligence or AI systems can be trained to generate alerts for threats, identify new types of malware and protect sensitive data for organisations. The special conference on “Artificial Intelligence: Applications and Innovations in Cyber Security“ will provide an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results in latest innovations in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Combining the strength of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with cybersecurity, security professionals have additional resources to defend vulnerable networks and data from cyber attackers. The objective of the special conference is to provide a platform to the researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to explore the future research opportunities and solutions in Cyber Security using AI.

Prof. Sandeep Saxena is working as a Professor in Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida. He has completed his B.Tech from U.P.T.U Lucknow, MS in Information Security from IIIT Allahabad and Ph.D from NIT Durgapur. He has done 13 years of excellent work in Academic in various well known institutes. He is part of various National/International professional societies CSI (Life Member), CRSI (Life Member), IAASSE (Senior Member) and IEEE (Senior Member). His areas of interest are Computer Network, Cloud Computing security, Blockchain Security, Information Security, Biometrics and Cyber Laws. He had part of various conferences as Organizing Secretary, Organizing Chair, Session chair etc.

Dr. Kanchan Hans is currently working as Associate Professor at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. She has 17 years of teaching experience in reputed colleges and universities. She has pursued her Ph.D. from Amity University, Noida. She is the member of various professional organizations like IEEE, CSI, Soft Computing Research Society (SRCS), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and CSTA, New York. She has been part of various International Conferences as member of Organizing Committee, Session Chair etc. Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Soft Computing, Expert Systems, and Cyber Security.

Prof. (Dr.) Akash Saxena received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, Rajasthan in 2013. Currently, Dr. Akash Saxena is working as a. Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, at Compucom Institute of Information Technology & Management, Jaipur (RAJ) since 2015 to till date. He is also awarded from the various organizations in contribution of Education field. His Research area interested includes Data Mining, Network Security, E- Commerce, , operating system , cloud computing etc. He is having more than 60 papers/articles in International Journals, 29 papers in International Conferences, 21 papers in National Conferences, and 10 Book are written in the field of computer Science.

Aims & Scope (Theme of Session):

Biomedical engineering is a dynamic area of research involving biomedical information and clinical medicine. With the impetus in sensor technology and artificial intelligence (AI), this field of specialization has gained momentum. Techniques based on AI have resulted in high accuracies for a number of problems in this domain and the potential is increasing day-by-day. It can help the physicians in improving the time efficiency of the diagnosis and can also highlight the relevant information present in the biomedical signal and/or image. The popular biomedical signals are essentially of two types, known as action potential and event-related potential. The former class consists of electromyogram (EMG), electroneurogram (ENG), electrocardiogram (ECG) and electroencephalogram (EEG), whereas electrogastrogram (EGG), phonocardiogram (PCG), carotid pulse (CP), signals from catheter-tip sensors, speech signal, vibromyogram (VMG), vibroarthrogram (VAG), otoacoustic emission signal are event-related potentials. The commonly used biomedical image modalities include functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), computed tomography (CT), x-ray, ultrasound imaging and positron emission tomography (PET).

This session aims to provide an inter-disciplinary international forum for the interchange of information on research in the analysis of biomedical signals and images using AI-based methods.
